Vibrant Latin American cultural celebration

Our story

Built from experience. Driven by purpose.

Academia de Idioma y Cultura was founded by an immigrant mother who knows firsthand what it means to navigate two languages — and two worlds.

Meet our founder

Lucelia Rodriguez Justiniano

Lucelia Rodriguez Justiniano came to the United States from Mexico as an eight-year-old immigrant. She is now an attorney, business owner, and mother — and her own journey has given her a deep, lived understanding of both the challenges of preserving Spanish across generations and the extraordinary opportunities that come with bilingualism.

She founded Academia de Idioma y Cultura with the belief that Spanish is more than a language. It is a connection to family, culture, and identity — and a lifelong educational and professional advantage.

Her vision is to create a space where children can strengthen their Spanish, embrace their cultural roots, and recognize bilingualism as something worth preserving and celebrating — not just a skill, but a source of pride.

Our mission

Language. Culture. Identity.

1

Immersion from day one

No English in the classroom. Children are surrounded by Spanish from the moment they walk in — building fluency the same way they learned their first language: naturally, joyfully, and without fear.

2

Language and culture together

We don't just teach vocabulary. Every session weaves in the music, stories, art, food, and celebrations of Latin America — because language lives inside culture, not apart from it.

3

Confidence over perfection

We build children who love speaking Spanish — who reach for the language rather than shrink from it. Confidence comes first. Fluency follows.

Our instructors

Native speakers. Dedicated educators.

Every AIC instructor is a native Spanish speaker with a background in education and experience working with elementary-age children. Our teachers bring the language to life — not just as a subject, but as a living, breathing part of every session.

Native speakers

All instructors speak Spanish as a first or heritage language, bringing authentic accent, vocabulary, and cultural nuance to every class.

Teaching backgrounds

Our educators have formal training and classroom experience — they know how children learn, and how to make language acquisition feel like play.

Culturally grounded

Rooted in Latin American traditions and celebrations, our instructors bring the full richness of the culture — not just the grammar.
